How is everyone doing? Are you falling into the new norm? Are you ready for the new norm to change again? Coronavirus has changed many lives in different ways; working from home, not being able to hug family members, virtual meetings with coworkers and friends.
We are ALL in this together!
We as Realtors are essential but have had to make a few changes. Our office has been closed to all traffic. The agents and office administration have been working full time from their homes. Our sellers and buyers have been reviewing and signing all documents electronically. This might sound like easy changes as we have always done electronic signatures (easy and quick), but WE miss the interaction with our clients. Meeting up to review documents and to discuss any questions/concerns and having them sign documents in person. Buying a house is a big decision and our agents take it very seriously. Realtors spend all this time with their clients getting to know what they are looking for in a house and to make sure its perfect fit for them. We all miss being able to high-five or hug them at the closing table. Not being able to go to the closings, because we are practicing safe distancing due to the Coronavirus, has been a difficult new norm to get used to. It’s a new chapter for the clients and we wish to be a part of it, as we have been, for all the steps leading to it.
Our new norm is about to change again as the Supreme Court in Wisconsin has overturned the Safer at Home Order that was originally extended to May 26, 2020. We’ve seen some businesses open overnight and some taking extra precaution and waiting to open when they have more clarification on safety procedures to keep their employees and clients safe. We hope you are all doing what you feel is comfortable for YOU. Our office is still taking its own precautions. Agents are gradually coming back into the office to work and meet with clients. Our precautions include disinfecting after every visit and continuing with electronic signatures on documents when appropriate.
We are here for you if you have any questions about selling or buying your home.
